LANCASTER, Ohio (December 2, 2011) – The Frank S. Benson, Sr. TWIG 7 recently held its Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony in the North Lobby of Fairfield Medical Center (FMC) marking its 23rd annual “Tree of Light” project.
Pictured from left is Sarah Cline, TWIG 7 Tree of Light chair; Stan Robinson, TWIG 7 Tree of Light honoree; and Mina Ubbing, FMC CEO.
“All donations this year are designated for portable infant scales for the Maternity Department,” said Sarah Cline, TWIG 7 Tree of Light Chair. “This year, local television and radio voice Stan Robinson was honored with the official tree lighting ceremony duties and the FMC Employee Choir provided wonderful Christmas carols to help kick off the holiday season. It was a joyous event.”
TWIG 7 has placed decorated trees in both the North and South lobbies. The two trees are filled with stars and angels representing symbols of your donations.
Mina Ubbing, FMC president and CEO, commented, “Groups like TWIG 7 are crucial to the development of the Medical Center and we can’t thank them enough for their support and generosity.”
TWIG 7 asks for your support of this project. With your contribution, you may memorialize or honor a loved one. The names specified will be recorded in the duplicate “Books of Honor” on display in both the North and South Lobbies. For more information, call Sarah Cline at (740) 654-6813.
