Fairfield Medical Center is proud to have been named one of the Top Workplaces in Central Ohio for 2014. The Top Workplaces list was announced today and FMC is No. 9 on the list of large companies (over 350 employees).
The winning 50 companies were selected through a nomination process that includes a confidential employee survey as well as completion of a company profile. The data was collected and analyzed by Workplace Dynamics LLP in partnership with Columbus CEO magazine and WBNS-10TV.
“We are honored to receive this prestigious recognition,” said Sky Gettys, FMC chief financial officer and interim chief executive officer. “I am proud to see our staff be recognized among Central Ohio’s top-rated employers for the outstanding patient care that we provide to our community.”
Companies throughout Central Ohio were invited to participate in this survey. After choosing to participate, each company went through a rigorous selection process that involved statistical analysis and employee surveys.
“Being recognized as a 2014 Top Workplaces in Central Ohio winner is a great honor for FMC,” said Debra Palmer, FMC Talent Development director. “This ranking shows Fairfield’s commitment to providing a vibrant work environment, one that supports and encourages staff to excel in their work, grow professionally and give back to their communities.”
The 2014 Top Workplaces Awards/Reception will be hosted by Columbus CEO and WBNS 10TV at COSI on April 22. The May issue of Columbus CEO features the winning companies in three categories—large, midsize and small.
