Fairfield Medical Center invites you to the Cancer Resource Center's
First Anniversary Open House Celebration from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. on Friday,
Jan. 3 at 616 Forest Rose Ave.
TWIG 1 recently donated $15,000 towards the Cancer Care Fund through the
Fairfield Medical Center Foundation. The proceeds were from the annual
Cancer Care Run and Walk held in October at Marten’s Park.
Every year, the Fairfield Medical Center Foundation receives a great
amount of support from the local community in growing its Cancer Care
Fairfield Federal Savings and Loan recently went the extra mile in
supporting breast cancer awareness by donating $500 to the Cancer Care
Fund through the Fairfield Medical Center Foundation.
Cancer patients and community members will have the opportunity to
fire paintballs at Fairfield Medical Center’s temporary Oncology
Services building on Oct. 24 as part of a first-time event called Blast
The Fairfield Medical Center Foundation recently accepted two grants totaling $20,000 for
the Cancer Care Fund from the Fraternal Order of Eagles (FOE).
In order to decrease disruption to our oncology patients, we are
temporarily relocating these services to 214 Harmon Avenue, which is
conveniently located to the south of the hospital.
The Fairfield Medical Center Foundation was awarded a $63,663 grant
from the Columbus affiliate of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure that will
be used by Fairfield Medical Center to provide screenings and
mammograms for uninsured women in Fairfield, Hocking and Perry counties.
The Fairfield Medical Center Foundation recently received a generous
donation of $6,002 from grateful patient and cancer survivor Michelle
Unger. Unger and her family hosted the second annual Strides 4 Survive
Cancer Care Walk on Jan. 27 at River Valley Mall.
