We often hear the statement that cancer touches every family. Years ago, when we heard about someone being diagnosed with cancer, we had little hope for remission or recovery. Today, we have many more survivors who live full and productive lives. Also, we have so much more support for patients and their families during and after treatment. We have our nurse navigators who help guide patients and their families through their care journey, such as identifying resources to assist them along the way.
