Fairfield Medical Center Breaks Ground on new FHP Amanda Office.

Fairfield Medical Center LogoFairfield Medical Center recently broke ground on a new Fairfield Healthcare Professionals medical office in Amanda that will offer primary care and specialty care services to the community. The project is slated for completion at the end of 2017.

“We are excited to break ground on this new building, which will allow us to expand upon the medical services we already provide in Amanda, as well as serve as a new, modern and service-designed community access facility,” said John R. “Jack” Janoso, Jr., president and CEO of Fairfield Medical Center. “This new office falls in line with our strategic plan, which is centered around bringing our services closer to our patients.”

The 8,500-square-foot building will be located on Amanda Northern Road and will consist of nine primary care physician exam rooms and four specialists’ exam rooms. Heather Schultz, CNP, and Christy Olive, CNP, will provide primary care services. Specialty practices, such as cardiology and pulmonology, also will be offered on a rotating basis. The building itself will mirror the look of FMC’s Surgical Tower and will be designed to serve as a space for small community gatherings in the off hours.

Future plans for the office include recruiting a third primary care provider and offering X-ray services. For updates on the progress of this project, visit fmchealth.org.
