FMC Offers Healthy Eating For Life 8-week Nutrition Program

Fairfield Medical Center is proud to introduce a new 8-week cumulative nutrition program helping participants change everyday behaviors to achieve and maintain a healthy weight and lifestyle for life! Classes are held Wednesdays from 5:30 - 7 p.m. The next class begins Sept. 25 - Nov. 13, 2013.

Registered Dietitian Kate Kanner will lead participants through the program every step of the way! Exercise Specialist Chris Chong, Bariatric Psychologist Dr. Jeannine Abbott and Bariatrician Dr. Robert Zee will provide specialized expertise to this comprehensive program.

What to expect:

Along with practical nutrition education, classes will cover topics such as exercise and physical activity, menu-planning, dining out, emotional eating and overcoming barriers for long term weight management.

Included in the $180 registration fee are individualized nutrition assessments, weekly weigh-ins, a class binder full of helpful resources and some additional prizes and giveaways.

No registration fee for those covered by FMC employee health insurance! Please note program attendance policy applies.

A $30 deposit is required to reserve a spot in the class.
