Fairfield Medical Center has Labor and Delivery suites that are large, attractively decorated and gives your family the room and privacy to bond with the newest edition to your family. Tours of the suites are available, please contact our Childbirth Educator at (740) 687-8218

Lactation Counseling
Lactation counseling is provided both in the hospital setting as mom and baby begin breastfeeding and bye telephone and/or outpatient visit for moms who are experiencing problems or have questions.

Mother and Child Home Nurse Visit
After mom and baby are discharged from the Center, a follow up visit from the Fairfield Medical Center Home Care Services can be arranged. Physical assessment of mother and baby, answering questions and providing additional education as needed.
