How are Health Screenings Performed?
Our wellness team will visit your facility to perform a comprehensive health screening to employees. This includes obtaining a blood sample to check cholesterol, triglycerides, and blood sugar levels for each participant.
Body measurements, including height, weight, body mass index, and blood pressure will also be obtained. Each employee completes a health questionnaire during the visit that asks about lifestyle, personal history, and current health practices.
An aggregate report is generated from the information collected, and a follow-up visit is scheduled approximately two to four weeks after the initial visit to review the report in a group session.
While individual assessment results will not be disclosed to the group, one of our wellness specialists will provide a general information session to the group based off of collective group results. Gender-specific risk factors associated with lab and body measurement results will be thoroughly discussed while keeping individual results private.
A health risk assessment prior to an annual physical allows your employees to discuss their risk factors with their physicians.
