MRI
MRI uses radio waves and a strong magnetic field rather than an X-Ray to provide clear and detailed pictures of internal organs and tissues. MRI is used for exams of the body’s major joints and the spine for disk disease, as well as to view tendons and muscles. MRI is located in the X-Ray Department behind the south lobby’s information desk. MRI procedures require pre-certification. Questions and information about MRI testing can be directed to (740) 687-8130. To schedule, please call FMC’s Central Scheduling at (740) 687-8666.
