Sleep Medicine
Poor sleep affects everything from job performance to marital harmony. It can also lead to depression and in some cases may contribute to early death because of accidents, stroke, heart disease and hypertension.
FMC Medical Director, Christopher Ryckman, MD, leads the Southeast Ohio Sleep Disorders Center. This center is a nationally accredited, full-service sleep center with state-of-the-art equipment. Our highly trained personnel including psychiatry, neurology, gastroenterology and ear, nose and throat specialists, as well as dental surgeons (when needed) use a team approach to treat the 86-plus different recognized sleep problems. Dr. Ryckman is board certified in sleep medicine and pulmonary and critical care medicine, with more than 20 years of experience in sleep-disturbance management.
The Southeast Ohio Sleep Disorders Center is located in FMC’s Surgery and Medical Office Pavilion. For more information about how you can get a better night’s sleep, call 1-87-RU-DROWSY, 1-877-837-6979.
