The Patient Representative or designated volunteer may visit during an inpatient stay at Fairfield Medical Center, to ensure that your visit is as comfortable as possible.Should you have any questions or need additional information, please call the Patient Representative at extension 8555 on weedkays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Messages left on voice mail are answered as promptly as possible.
Fairfield Medical Center provides advance directive documents regarding living wills and durable power of attorney for healthcare forms or information upon request. This information can assist you in completing the necessary documentation. To request this information, patients can speak with their nurse or call (740) 687-8660.

Chaplain and Grief Services
In order to provide a continuum of care for our patients and visitors through their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, Fairfield Medical Center provides chaplain service. During times of fear, pain, anxiety and stress, individuals can become overwhelmed and at times your personal spiritual advisor may be unavailable. Fairfield Medical Center has considered these needs and provides 24-hour spiritual support. Any patient or visitor may request these services at any time, regardless of your faith. As a patient or visitor at Fairfield Medical Center, we believe in providing you with faithful compassion, warm comfort and trusted caring, ministering to your spiritual as well as your physical and emotional needs.
Our on-site chapel is located on the third floor across from the visitor elevators. It is open around the clock providing opportunity for meditation. To request chaplain services, ask your nurse or call the operator (“0” in house) and ask for the chaplain on-call.
