LANCASTER, Ohio (July 11, 2011) – On June 23, 2011, the Eagles donated a $20,000 grant to Fairfield Medical Center at the Eagles Annual State Convention in Perrysburg, Ohio.
Dr. Steven Cox, Chief Medical Officer at Fairfield Medical Center and Joyce Cox, MSN, CNP, OCN, Oncology Nurse Navigator, were honored to receive the donation on behalf of Fairfield Medical Center. Mr. John Kempton, Past State President, presented the check to be used for cancer care services at Fairfield Medical Center.
Dr. and Mrs. Cox also provided an update to the attendees on how these funds will be used to positively impact patients receiving cancer care at Fairfield Medical Center. Dr. Cox noted, “We are so thankful for this donation as it will benefit our community and allow us to serve them better. Because of civic organizations such as the Eagles, we are able to provide services to those in need and make a difference.”
