"The Clinic at Walmart" Operated by Fairfield Medical Center Opened June 3, 2011 - Offering Convenient, Affordable Care
Fairfield Medical Center’s clinic inside the Canal Winchester store is one of three clinics that will be opening soon.
LANCASTER, Ohio (June 7, 2011) - Walmart (NYSE: WMT) and Fairfield Medical Center today announced Canal Winchester’s newest location for basic health care services – “The Clinic at Walmart” operated by Fairfield Medical Center. This convenient care clinic opened Friday, June 3, 2011 inside the Walmart located at 6674 Winchester Boulevard in Canal Winchester.
The clinic will provide convenient, affordable access to basic health care services, seven days a week, with no appointment necessary. The walk-in health clinic is the first owned and operated by Fairfield Medical Center in a Walmart. The clinic will be open for walk-in care: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 8:00 pm; Saturday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm; and Sunday noon to 6:00 pm.
For busy customers who need care, especially after working hours or on weekends, the clinic will treat common health ailments and offer routine services. These include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Bladder infections
• Blood sugar testing
• Camp and school physicals
• Common vaccinations
• Earaches• Flu
• Insect bites and stings
• Minor wounds
• Sinus infections
• Upper respiratory infections
• Wart removal
