Attend Our "Open House"

Because we know you will have questions along the way, we recommend that you attend one of our “Open House” visits around your 16th week of pregnancy.

During the “Open House” you will be given a tour of the Maternity Unit so you can familiarize yourself with our suites.  The “Open House” is geared toward helping you have the best pregnancy possible. You will receive information on registering for Childbirth Preparation Classes and Tobacco Cessation if needed.

We encourage you to attend childbirth classes, which are designed to help make you aware of your birthing options, and then discuss those options with your physician. We recommend a birthing plan that incorporates everything from your labor and delivery expectations to your choice of pain control. You may have two support people with you at all times during labor. We suggest that these same people attend your childbirth class and then remain at your side throughout the entire labor and delivery process.

We offer many other classes designed to help you and your loved ones prepare for the newest addition to your family. Other classes to explore include: Breastfeeding, Grand Parenting, Newborn Care, Cesarean Birth, Infant/Child CPR, Sibling and Infant Massage Classes.

Lastly, choosing a pediatrician is also very important and we will help facilitate that process for you during your “Open House” visit.
