FMC to Host Snider Heart and Lung 5-Mile Run/Walk
LANCASTER, Ohio (August 16, 2012) – Fairfield Medical Center’s annual “Snider Heart and Lung 5 Mile Run/Walk” will be held on Saturday, Sept. 8 at 9 a.m. to raise funds for cardiopulmonary rehabilitation patients that are recommended to participate in cardiac and pulmonary rehab but cannot afford the cost.
This year’s race includes a 5-mile run, 5-mile walk, 1-mile walk, along with a children’s race and children’s activities. The event will take place at Fairfield Medical Center.
Registration begins at 8 a.m. and the race begins at 9 a.m. There is a $25 entry fee if you register before the day of the race or $30 the day of. Registration is available at www.fmchealth.org by clicking under calendar events. Participants can even use their smart phone by scanning the barcode on the race flyers, or by filling out the brochure and mailing it in. Registration can also be done on the day of the race.
