Fairfield Medical Center’s radiation oncology program provides expert, compassionate care in the management of cancer. Radiation therapy uses various forms of radiation to safely and effectively treat all types of cancer and other diseases. It is utilized in all types of cancers as a curative treatment, to prevent recurrence and also palliative care to manage the symptoms when there is no cure.
Providing radiation therapy along with surgical and medical treatment of cancer at Fairfield Medical Center means patients can receive their treatment without needing to alter their normal course of living.
Board-certified radiation oncologists, Dr. Mark Becker and Dr. Chuck Cho, collaborate with the other specialists, such as medical oncologists Dr. Srikantiah-Saha and Dr. Singh, to customize a cancer care plan for each patient, specific to individual needs. They work diligently to communicate these needs to cancer care team members. Together they find the best possible outcome for each patient.
