Orthopedic Unit Amenities
The Orthopedic Unit’s private dining area, which is designed to make patients and guests feel at home, is complete with a cozy fireplace and flat-screen TV. While all meals can be enjoyed in this private dining area, Wednesdays are special for patients and one lucky guest. On Wednesdays, Fairfield Medical Center’s very own chef, Jamie Brumbaugh, prepares a gourmet meal for total joint replacement patients and one guest at no additional cost.
Salon and massage therapy services, both located conveniently on the Orthopedic Unit, are also offered to patients during their stay. The salon offers hair washing and styling at no additional cost to patients. Massage therapy is offered in a private room by a licensed massage therapist. Massage therapy is a great way to reduce pain and inflammation, or to simply relax during your stay.

Other amenities include a magazine and snack cart, as well as a fully stocked pantry that is accessible 24 hours a day for patients and guests. Your guests might also enjoy our coffee bar located in the lobby by the South Entrance, which offers various coffees, teas, hot chocolates and smoothies. The Fairfield Café, our cafeteria, is open daily. Hot meal service is available at the following times:
Breakfast: 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Lunch: 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Dinner: 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
