Fairfield Medical Center is committed to providing the highest quality healthcare to all patients, regardless of their ability to pay.Professional Financial Representatives are available to assist you Monday through Friday 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. by calling 740-687-8025.

We are committed to educating our patients about their hospital bill to help identify and facilitate financial assistance when applicable.

Our Charitable Care Policy is:

Fairfield Medical Center is committed to providing charity care to persons who have healthcare needs and are uninsured, underinsured, ineligible for a government program, or otherwise unable to pay, who require emergency and other medically necessary care.

This allows the patient to receive the highest quality care at Fairfield Medical Center without concern of limited resources to provide compensation for services rendered. We will work with governmental and other third party payers to assure compliance and optimize the reimbursement coming into Fairfield Medical Center.

Financial Counseling - Available to identify patient's financial needs in relationship and to resolving the financial obligations for healthcare services.

Charity Opportunities - Financial Assistance is available for the uninsured and under-insured based on add 300% of the Poverty Guidelines.The attached application must be completed and submitted to the Business Office for determination of eligibility.

Collection and Follow Up Policy - Payment is requested at time of service and the following discounts and arrangements are available.

Uninsured - Any patient without insurance will have an Uninsured Discount of 30% applied to the total account balance prior to billing the patient.  Patient is then eligible for all discounts and charitable opportunities.

  • 20% Discount offered at the time of service.
  • 10% Discount if paid within 20 days of receipt of bill
  • H.E.L.P Loan Program at 0% interest if paid in 1 year
  • H.E.L.P. Loan Program at 8% after first year
