Fairfield Medical Center’s radiation oncology program provides expert, compassionate care in the management of cancer. Radiation therapy uses various forms of radiation to safely and effectively treat all types of cancer and other diseases. It is utilized in all types of cancers as a curative treatment, to prevent recurrence and also palliative care to manage the symptoms when there is no cure.
Providing radiation therapy along with surgical and medical treatment of cancer at Fairfield Medical Center means patients can receive their treatment without needing to alter their normal course of living.
Board-certified radiation oncologists, Dr. Mark Becker and Dr. Chuck Cho, collaborate with the other specialists, such as medical oncologists Dr. Srikantiah-Saha and Dr. Singh, to customize a cancer care plan for each patient, specific to individual needs. They work diligently to communicate these needs to cancer care team members. Together they find the best possible outcome for each patient.
Dr. Becker and Dr. Cho are part of Lancaster Radiation Oncology, a radiation therapy center serving the Central and Southeastern Ohio areas. This state-of-the-art center is a full-service radiation oncology center.
The center is conveniently located on on campus at 214 Harmon Ave., allowing for access to hospital facilities, including radiology, laboratory and medical oncology. There is free, reserved parking right outside the door of the facility.
