Fame patientA Patient Representative or designated volunteer may visit during an inpatient stay at Fairfield Medical Center, to ensure that your visit is as comfortable as possible.

Should you have any concerns, complaints, questions or need additional information, please call the Patient Representative at ext. 8555.

Patient representatives are available every day of the week from 6 a.m. – 9 p.m. Messages left on voicemail are answered as promptly as possible.

Advance Directives

Fairfield Medical Center provides advance directive documents regarding living wills and durable power of attorney for healthcare forms or information upon request. This information can assist you in completing the necessary documentation.

Chaplain and Grief Services

Fairfield Medical Center provides a continuum of physical, emotional and spiritual care for patients and visitors through our staff chaplains. During times of fear, pain, anxiety and stress, individuals can become overwhelmed and at times your personal spiritual advisor may be unavailable. Fairfield Medical Center has considered these needs and provides 24-hour spiritual support. Any patient or visitor may request these services at any time, regardless of your faith. As a patient or visitor at Fairfield Medical Center, we believe providing you with compassionate and trusted spiritual care can be helpful in your time of need.

Our on-site chapel is located on the first floor, south lobby, adjacent to the coffee bar. It is open around the clock providing opportunity for meditation. To request a chaplain, ask your nurse or call 740-687-8344. On an in-house phone, dial “0” for the operator.
