Welcome to the Surgical Services departments of Fairfield Medical Center. We provide comprehensive surgical procedures at three convenient locations throughout Lancaster including Fairfield Medical Center main operating room, the Surgery Pavilion and River View Surgery Center. River View Surgery Center is located at 2401 North Columbus Street in Lancaster and provides outpatient services to the community. The Surgery Pavilion is our second outpatient surgery center that is located on the campus of Fairfield Medical Center at 135 North Ewing Street. The main operating room is located within Fairfield Medical Center at 140 North Ewing Street.
The main operating room offers advanced minimally invasive outpatient procedures as well as traditional surgical interventions requiring an inpatient stay. We offer preoperative and postoperative support with the aim of having optimal patient recovery. Our surgeons, nurses and technical staff are dedicated to increasing your and your family’s comfort throughout the surgical process. Our trained staff works closely with our surgeons to provide exceptional, competent and compassionate care.
The areas of surgical services we provide to the community include: general and laparoscopy surgery, gynecology, urology, neurology, orthopedics, vascular, endovascular, cardiothoracic and plastic surgery. Our state-of-the-art and award winning orthopedic surgery unit offers total joint replacement. We have a successful open-heart program that has been operating more than 10 years and has begun offering minimally invasive valve procedures to the community in 2013. Also in 2013, we will offer a comprehensive bariatric program that will feature safe and highly effective weight loss surgery options. In addition to these services, our cancer care specialists offer cancer treatment procedures. Our surgeons provide innovative procedures with successful outcomes.
All Fairfield Medical surgical centers will offer a tour for pediatric patients upon request. Tours will be given the same week of surgery, usually in the afternoon or evening once the operating room is closed and cleaned. This allows pediatric patients to become familiar with the operatory environment and facility, relieving any anxiety that may exist for the patient and parents or legal guardians.
You and your family are the center of the care we provide and your experience is as important to us as the success of your procedure.
