LANCASTER, Ohio (January 4, 2012) – The first baby born at Fairfield Medical Center arrived on January 3. Hank Boyd entered the world at 8:09 a.m., weighing in at 9 pounds, 4 ounces and 20 1/4 inches long.
“We were very excited to learn that Hank was the first baby of the year at Fairfield Medical Center, especially with us delivering on the third,” said proud mother, Elizabeth Boyd. “He is our first boy and we are hoping he will be into music along with his two sisters.”
Waylon and Elizabeth Boyd are residents of Lancaster and were pleased to receive a large diaper bag filled with gifts from Fairfield Medical Center along with a handmade blanket from an anonymous donor. The diaper bag contained much-needed items for the baby including a $100 savings bond, diapers, rattle, lotion and manicure set for mom.
The proud parents also received a $180 portrait package courtesy of Lori Thompson Portraits of Lancaster. Connells Maple Lee Flowers and Gifts of Bexley donated a baby tote, musical piggy bank, photo album, and baby spa set congratulating them on their new edition.
