LANCASTER, Ohio (August 28, 2013) – On Monday, Sept. 9, at 6 p.m., Fairfield Medical Center will be hosting an event called Prevention and Treatment of Sports Related Injuries in Young Athletes.
This is the first time FMC has offered this talk featuring Fairfield Medical Center’s Dr. Steven Priano, board certified orthopedic surgeon at Ohio Orthopedic Center, Dr. Douglas Woo, board certified neurologist at Fairfield Healthcare Professionals Neurology and Corey Callahan, Physical Therapy supervisor.
Dr. Priano will share information pertaining to sports related injuries, Dr. Woo will present information regarding concussions and Corey Callahan will share information about the new baseline concussion testing that is taking place at FMC. Each presenter will allow time for questions from the audience.
The event is free to attend and geared toward parents and guardians of young athletes. It is located in FMC’s Assembly Rooms 2 and 3, which are on the Second Floor of the Center. Light dinner will be provided. Please R.S.V.P by calling (740) 689-4447.
