Coaches’ Clinic-PAV (Pupil Activation Validation) Certification Classes
The Ohio Department of Education (ODE) and the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) mandates all parties who supervise, direct or coach a student activity program to have a Pupil Activity Validation (PAV) certificate. Participants will learn how to assess life threatening and non-life threatening injuries, as well as basic injury management and prevention. CPR Certification will be provided. Other general adolescent health and safety issues will also be covered such as: first aid, sudden cardiac arrest and concussion training.
FMC Sports Medicine Affiliates will receive PAV and CPR certification free of charge. *Non-affiliates will be charged a $20 fee at time of event.
Webex available for PAV education, in person required for CPR.
