Being Kind to the Mind
May is Mental Health Awareness Month. The FMC Foundation is focusing on supporting the mental health needs of FMC staff members during the pandemic by spreading kindness.
COVID-19 has had a significant negative effect on the mental health of the world, especially among those who are faced with combating the virus. Many may not fully comprehend the sacrifices and weight that frontline workers have carried during this time. We want to continue to thank our frontline workers for their compassion, commitment to others, and the support they have provided to our community during the pandemic. That is why the FMC Foundation wants to give a self care package to staff members during the month of May.
What is in the care package?
The care packages contain resources and information to help FMC frontline workers cope with the mental health impact of their work. Care packages will include additional items such as sweet and salty snacks, wellness products, relaxation products and items that bring smiles.
Your name or company name will go onto the care package and you will have an opportunity to write a customized message. Unless you specify a specific employee name, the Foundation will select the employees. The cost per care package is $35.
Ready to spread kindness and support this cause?
We have more than 2,400 employees at FMC that care for your family and friends in our community. Our staff has seen and done things during the pandemic that they never thought possible. Thank you for helping give them a little bit of sunshine during this difficult time. Help us reach our goal of providing each employee a care package.
