About Evin Jerkins, DO

Dr. Jerkins has been an active researcher and volunteer, as well as a recipient of several awards and honors, such as the Medicaid Technology Assistance and Policy Program Health Care Initiative Scholarship (2013), Ohio Health Diversity Scholarship (2010, 2011, 2012), Pfizer Research Scholarship (2004) and the College of Natural Science Undergraduate Research Grant summer (2004). He is a current member of the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians, American Osteopathic Association, Ohio Osteopathic Association, American Academy of Family Physicians, American Academy of Sleep Medicine and the American College of Chest Physicians. Dr. Jerkins has particular interest in fatigue related transportation accidents, central disorders of hypersomnolence, pediatric sleep medicine, parasomnias and sleep-related movement disorders.
