Experience Compassionate Care

One of these days you'll be walking without thisOutpatient Therapy Services provides a wide range of treatments for stroke and other neurological impairments including Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Muscular Dystrophy, ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease), chronic brain injury, neuropathies and spinal cord injury. Neurological conditions can present a patient with extreme challenges. Occupational therapy, physical therapy and speech therapy often involve re-learning skills we take for granted or developing new skills to replace functions that are no longer possible.

Successful treatment requires an understanding that goes beyond the patient’s physical condition. We take the time to understand each individual and help him or her manage the physical realities they face in every day life.

Diseases, trauma or injury involving the brain, spine and/or nerves may result in weakness, balance problems, stiffness, pain, dizziness and/or lack of coordination. All of these problems may impact walking, contribute to falls, impair movement and limit an individuals’ ability to complete activities at home, work and within the community.
