Helping Restore Your Functionality and Safety
Occupational Therapy treatment emphasis is geared toward the restoration of function in order to maximize a person’s independence and safety with self-care, work and/or home management skills. This may be accomplished by increasing joint range of motion, muscle strengthening and endurance, providing patient and/or family education, fabricating splints and/or instruction in the use of adaptive equipment or techniques.
Services are offered to both inpatients and outpatients. Occupational Therapy evaluates and treats individuals of all ages who are physically, developmentally and/or cognitively impaired.
Fairfield Medical Center offers occupational services conveniently located at two locations:
- Outpatient Therapy Services Clinic at 1143 East Main St., Lancaster (in the Kroger shopping center)
- Monday-Friday, 7 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
- River Valley Campus at 2384 N. Memorial Drive, Lancaster
- Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m.-6:30 p.m., Friday, 7 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
