Donate to our Healing Mission
As the philanthropic branch of Fairfield Medical Center – an independent, non-profit health system – the FMC Foundation plays a vital role in supporting access to excellent medical care and wellness programs throughout the region.

Ways to Give

A donation to the FMC Foundation directly supports patient care at Fairfield Medical Center. Funds may be used to provide financial assistance to offset the cost of prescription drugs to uninsured or underinsured patients, assist with the purchase of necessary medical equipment or support other programs within the health system such as Cardiovascular Care, Cancer Care, Maternity Care, Women’s Health and more. If you can’t donate, there are other ways that you can get involved! Contact us for more information.

Caregivers who are recognized will receive your story and be pinned as a Legendary Caregiver. Their name will also be included in internal and external communication about the Legendary Caregiver program. To recognize a caregiver, please fill out the form below. You can also donate to the Grateful Patient program, after you fill out your form. Donations help pay for Grateful Patient awards and recognition, such as pins that the caregivers can wear after being recognized.

Your generosity makes a lasting difference at Fairfield Medical Center Foundation. Every gift helps us advance our mission, expand our impact, and support exceptional care for the patients and families we serve. By giving today, you become an essential partner in strengthening our community and shaping the future of healthcare at Fairfield Medical Center.
We offer a variety of meaningful ways to give, including Endowed Memorial or Celebratory Funds that honor loved ones, Brick Memorials that create a lasting tribute, Matching Gifts that maximize the impact of your contribution, and Outright Gifts that provide immediate support where it is needed most. For those looking to leave a lasting legacy, Planned Giving and Naming Opportunities allow you to align your generosity with your personal values and long-term goals.

Clothing items are provided to patients who are in need of items to wear home. Puzzle books, coloring books, and fidgets are provided as a much needed distraction during a patient’s stay. For clothing, any basic sweatpants, t-shirts, socks, and underwear are greatly appreciated (they do not necessarily have to be the ones on this list). Word searches, adult coloring books, colored pencils, and fidget toys are also greatly appreciated.

Legendary Philanthropists
Each year, the Foundation recognizes Legendary Philanthropists in six categories. Eligible nominees are determined by the FMC Foundation team, with the winners chosen by a committee. Award winners have shown a selfless nature, proven record of exceptional generosity and a general spirit of philanthropy. All donors, including Grateful Patients, who donate $500 or more, are recognized on our donor wall in the lobby of our main campus, and are invited to our Legendary Philanthropy Awards.
