FMC’s graduate nurse residency orientation serves as a bridge for new nurses between school and clinical practice. The program assists new nurses with the challenges you will face with starting a new job at a new facility, adjusting to a high-stress work environment, managing insecurity and fear, and the diverse emotions involved with the first year of nursing.
You will be provided with a strong support system, including:

Nurses who have been licensed for less than a year are automatically entered into the program upon being hired or obtaining their license.
