About Nate Bruss, MS, AT, OPE-C

Having the opportunity to treat and educate student-athletes about the Athletic Training profession as well as athletic injuries is what led Nate to his athletic trainer career. He is dedicated to helping them to understand the how and why behind prevention and rehabilitation of injuries.

When not at athletic events, Nate enjoys weight lifting, sports (watching and playing), hiking, photography, video games, and spending time with friends and family.

In high school, I suffered a shoulder injury that led me to miss part of my junior baseball season. Working with my Athletic Trainer at the time and the Sport Medicine team helped to open my eyes on the benefits that Athletic Trainers provide. It led me to want to make the same impact on someone else's life like it did mine. I also enjoy learning and understanding the human body to help fully understand the how and why behind injuries.” - Nate Bruss, MS, AT, OPE-C
