A gift to your Fairfield Medical Center Foundation helps support access to compassionate medical treatment for members of our region who need it most while helping to ensure the presence of excellent, patient-centered medical care for years to come.

The FMC Foundation is a 501c3 tax-exempt organization. All donations made before December 31 each year can be filed on that year’s taxes. Your gift is 100% tax-deductible and may be directed to one of our specific causes or funds if you wish.

Giving Tuesday

The Fairfield Medical Center Foundation joins a national day of generosity known as #GivingTuesday. This is a day to celebrate a culture of giving rather than receiving, when communities, charities, businesses and individuals come together to transform the way we think about, talk about, and participate in the giving season. Your monetary donation will contribute to the health of our region, helping ensure that Fairfield Medical Center is better able to provide care for every patient, regardless of their ability to pay.

This Tuesday or ANY Tuesday, GIVE your support. All donations made before December 31 each year can be filed on that year’s taxes. Check with your tax advisor. Your gift may be 100% tax-deductible and will be directed to the fund(s) of your choice.

In Honor or Endowed Memorial

Families can establish an endowed memorial or celebratory fund in the name of the decedent or honoree with gifts totaling $10,000 or more. Endowed funds increase in market value over time, since only a portion of the fund’s income is spent annually. The fund will exist in perpetuity, serving as a touching memorial to your loved one.

Brick Memorial

The entrance to the North Lobby of FMC serves as a beautiful location for our brick memorial patio. If you have a loved one or someone you wish to recognize, you may choose to engrave their name(s) on either of these two brick types:

  • 4×8 inch brick with three lines, totaling 48 letters per brick: $200
  • 8×8 inch brick with three lines, totaling 96 letters per brick: $400
  • Bricks can be purchased at the Fairfield Medical Center Foundation office or by calling 740-687-8107.

Matching Gifts

If you are an employee of a company that has a program that will “match” your contribution to the FMC Foundation, you can multiply your gift, allowing it to reach every corner of our Foundation. We encourage you to check with your employer’s Human Resources office to see if they offer this program. If you find that is not an option with your company, you may consider starting this program.

Outright Gifts

Your cash gift is an immediate way to show your support, and you are able to designate your gift to benefit a specific fund. Donations are accepted as cash, check, money order, credit card (VISA, MasterCard, Discover) and can be made online, by mail or in person.

Do you know there are ways to support Fairfield Medical Center that do not affect your current lifestyle or your family’s security? You can support FMC with gifts that do not impact the way you live by designating Fairfield Medical Center to receive estate assets in the future, or you can make immediate gifts of assets that are “out of sight and out of mind.”
