Love Your Lungs Join us for two sessions promoting lung health for all.
While it’s probably not something we think about often, our lungs are a vital part of keeping your body alive – working overtime to take about 20,000 breaths a day! This two-part event will discuss general lung health and take time to celebrate and remember those impacted by lung cancer.
*Two separate sessions will be held. Please feel free to register for one or both, depending on your interest.
Wednesday, Nov. 9 – 5-7:30 p.m.
Breathe Easy: COPD and Lung Health Education Seminar – 5 p.m.
During this session, providers from our Fairfield Healthcare Professionals Pulmonology and Critical Care team will cover the basics of COPD, available therapies and how to manage COPD flares.
A free health screening and 7-day pass to the Robert K. Fox Family YMCA will be available to all attendees.
Sessions will be separated by a brief intermission.
Shine a Light on Lung Cancer – 6 p.m.
Connect with your local community of lung cancer patients, survivors and caregivers. This event will feature lung cancer awareness education, special words from lung cancer survivors and caregivers, and time to honor those who have been impacted by lung cancer. Refreshments will be served.
In-person attendance is limited, and registration is required. Medical grade masks are required during the event.
