If You’re 45 or Older, It’s Time for a Colon Cancer Screening

The screening guidelines for colon cancer recommend beginning regular screening at age 45 or earlier if you have a family history of the disease, or other risk factors. There are several methods to screening for colon cancer, but talk to your provider to determine which one is the best fit for you. Colon cancer often starts with little to no symptoms in the early stages, so it’s important to keep up with screenings even if you are feeling well.
