Protecting Your Peace of Mind

Security measures have been put into place so that you and your family can rest assured that your stay is comfortable and safe. Identification bands will be placed on you, your baby and one accompanying support person immediately following delivery. Only individuals wearing the appropriate band will be able to retrieve your baby from the nursery.

Additionally, sensor-activated monitors are used to ensure baby is not removed from the Maternity Unit until it’s time to go home. If an alert is announced, all hospital personnel are trained to respond quickly.
