Our Physicians

Our team of physicians is here to provide excellent care to you and your baby. Your OB physician or the covering OB physician will direct the plan for your care during labor, delivery and recovery. In addition to attending your delivery, these physicians will be available at your bedside as needed and round daily to see patients after delivery.

Anesthesiologists provide 24-hour coverage for our maternity unit and are available to provide epidural pain management and anesthesia for cesarean sections.

Your baby needs care too and will receive it from one of our pediatric hospitalists or the on-call pediatrician. These physicians attend to your baby’s needs and direct care for your newborn prior to discharge.

Nursing Team

Our nursing staff consists of skilled, maternity-trained registered nurses and OB techs. Our nurses collaborate with the physicians and provide much of the hands-on care and support you will receive. They will continually assess you and your baby’s well-being, providing treatment and medications, making sure you are comfortable and assisting you with learning how to care for yourself and your baby.

They will also provide detailed discharge instructions prior to your return home.
