Toni Reincheld with her husband, Dave Reincheld.
A Joint Effort – Living with Rheumatic Conditions

Living with three types of arthritis left Toni Reincheld in so much pain she could barely walk – but that all changed when she met rheumatologist Dr. Sheryl Mascarenhas. Five years later, Toni has made incredible strides and is living a fuller, more comfortable life.

Diagnosing Rheumatoid Arthritis

According to Dr. Mascarenhas, rheumatoid arthritis is one of the most common forms of inflammatory arthritis treated in her practice. The condition tends to affect women more than men, with age of diagnosis occurring as early as the 20s or 30s and a spike in incidence among post-menopausal women.
