Pre-Admission Testing (PAT) Clinic
Fairfield Medical Center’s Pre-Admission Testing (PAT) Clinic, currently located at 618 Pleasantville Rd., will be closed on May 6 and May 7 as we return to our Main Street location. We will begin seeing patients at 1155 E. Main St., Lancaster, on Friday, May 8.
If you have any questions regarding this change, please contact your provider’s office. We appreciate your patience and agility.
A pre-admission testing visit is among the best ways to prepare for a safe and positive surgical outcome, and should be scheduled within 30 days of your scheduled surgery. We will work with your provider’s office to coordinate a time for consultation and testing.
Please note that if you are unable to keep this appointment, it may result in the delay or cancellation of your procedure.
At your PAT Clinic appointment, you can expect a review of your medical history, a physical exam, and a discussion about your current health status. We will also complete any additional testing required to provide clearance for a safe and efficient surgical experience. Prior to surgery, these results will be reviewed by an anesthesiologist, making it a critical component in your procedure preparation process.
Please bring a complete list of current medications and dosages (prescription, over-the-counter and herbals) to your PAT Clinic appointment.
Common tests conducted during the PAT appointment include:
- Complete blood count (CBC)
- Complete medical profile
- Electrocardiogram (EKG)
- Urinalysis
- X-rays
