It is with great regret that the Fairfield Medical Center Foundation has made the difficult decision to cancel the Annual Golf Outing on Sept. 13. Due to the rising number of COVID-19 cases in our community, our facility has been experiencing a significant resource strain that we predict will only worsen in the coming weeks as we continue to care for critically ill patients. The safety of our community and our staff is our No. 1 priority, and we do not believe holding a large-scale event during this time of uncertainty aligns with our mission as a healthcare organization. We apologize for the inconvenience, and appreciate your understanding as we work to protect our patients, healthcare workers, and the community. Please contact the Foundation to arrange a refund of your registration fees, or if you would prefer for it to remain a 100% tax deductible donation to the Foundation, your support of our healing mission is greatly appreciated
We ask that you continue to support FMC, the FMC Foundation and our community during this time by using all the tools available to stop this pandemic – wear a mask (regardless of your vaccination status), social distance appropriately, stay home if you are sick, and get the facts about COVID-19 vaccines. Click here to access FMC’s COVID-19 resource center.
If you have any questions about this cancellation, please contact the FMC Foundation at firstname.lastname@example.org.
