On Sunday, June 1, FMC hosted the annual Cancer Survivors Day celebration for our brave, courageous and strong survivors and their support systems. This year, the theme was “Day at the Derby.” Numerous FMC staff and community organizations provided education and resources to approximately 50 attendees. A cancer survivor shared his story and experience with FMC.
Thank you to all who joined us to celebrate life, share hope and honor our survivors!
Cancer Survivors Day is celebrated each year on the first Sunday in June. From the moment you receive a cancer diagnosis on, you are considered a survivor. Cancer Survivors Day is for everyone, including family members, friends, caregivers or healthcare professionals.
