Each registered nurse in the Orthopedic Unit must meet certain criteria to be eligible to sit for the certification exam offered by the National Association of Orthopedic Nurses (NAON). Each patient receives expert physical therapy the day of surgery, and twice daily thereafter until hospital discharge to ensure a fast road to successful recovery. When needed, a comprehensive sports and work-related injury rehabilitation program is also offered.
